I loved it. I laughed and laughed!

It was an awesome read. Cannot be read fast.. It has to be taken slowly.

It was a good book. A great example and reminder that there are two sides to every story.

I'm loving this so far!! 6 years ago I would not have believed the narrator. Now I am reading along and nodding going yup, yup, yup...

Nope not for me. It dragged on and on and then I lost interest.

So I finally gave in and read this book. It was ok. An interesting retelling of Beauty and the Beast in parts it just dragged on an on.

Easter present!!! I found it @dioval.

This book is magical. I had forgotten how much I love Allende. Everything that happens is written as if it were a typical everyday occurence.

It was a quick read. Scarlet was annoying and it felt forced at times.

THIS BOOK IS AMAZING! ONLY A LITTLE WAY IN AND I AM HOOKED. THE WRITING IS BEAUTIFUL. THE IMAGES AND DESCRIPTIONS ARE SUPERB. I WON'T BE GETTING ANY SLEEP TONIGHT.

I LOVE when I get a new hardback and it creaks when I open it!!!!!

Pretty awesome book!! I couldn't laugh at her antics as much as I did in "Wishful Drinking" her death is too recent. I enjoyed it very much both as a fan of hers and of Star Wars.

For me hope is embodied in Dumbledore once again. Harry was besides himself with anxiety about Snape and the game but once he sees Dumbledore he is at peace and knows it will be ok.

First instance is the implied fear Harry feels for Dudley and friends; the threat to their normalcy; the fear that "they" know; uncle Vernon's irrational behavior; fear that someone is at the shacks door. I believe there is fear in not belonging. In this chpt Harry wants to be a part of the family and he wants to be accepted neither he nor the reader understand why he is not welcome causing fear and unease

Harry is so miserable and so alone. At this point we can't understand why but it is so unfair. He does look forward to being allowed to be left alone at home in order to partake of Dursleys things. However, he is very happy to be allowed to accompany them to the zoo.

All characters in this chapter are so committed to the task at hand or who they are. What struck me were the Dursleys.

Wonderful story. impossible to put down. Doerr created such wonderful characters and painted such a vivid picture.
