Another great mystery. Montalbano watches refugees arrive and sees a little boy trying to flee, he finds him and returns him to his mother. But things aren't what they seem. He is determined to uncover the ring of children fir sale in the horrific underworld of trafficking.

pickThis was my #LetterR for #LitsyAtoZ in translation. I‘m quite enjoying this series, though there is some weird sexist stuff at times. The mysteries are interesting and the characters are hilarious.
pickInspector Montalbano is reaching a crisis in his career and due to the actions of others is intending to resign. Amongst these events whilst out for one of his swims he comes across a body. Although written a good few years ago this book is quite topical due to its references to the refugee crisis in Europe. The usual good humour, quirkiness of Inspector Montalbano and other characters are prevalent throughout the book. Another excellent read!
