The classic graphic novel. The first of Tintin's black-and-white adventures. Sent on assignment to the Soviet Union, Tintin boards a train. . . but after an explosion, Tintin is blamed for the bombing, and he must make his way to the Soviet Union by stealth. Once there, he uncovers some shocking Bolshevik secrets.

Mehso-so

This collection of Tintin consists of the tagged story and “Tintin in the Congo”

The first story in the Soviet is in black and white with very simple drawings. In the story everyone is after Tintin, but as far as I can tell it‘s never explained why. It just a series of Tintin getting out of trouble.

The second story takes place in Congo. The illustrations are in color and Tintin looks more like himself. This is also more of a story.

AnneCecilie I didn‘t like any of them as much as I thought I would. I watched the cartoons in the 90s and loved them, the comics just wasn‘t the same. I owned this for over 10 yrs so I‘m glad to finally get it off my tbr. Another square done for #BookSpinBingo @TheAromaofBooks 4y
Andrew65 I remember reading and enjoying these as a child, although preferred the Asterix books. Well done 👏👏👏 (edited) 4y
