#MarchIntoThe70s #Day13 #HighwayToHell As far as I‘m concerned, it‘s never been AC/DC after Bon Scott died.He was a larger-than-life larrikin, the perfect mix of Scottish charm & Aussie mischief. You just have to watch the old videos with him at the front, especially Let There Be Rock. He was a rock version of Puck. His highway ended ihorribly, in the back of a car, too pissed to save himself. But oh boy, he‘d be giving the devil a run for his money!

A book filled with plenty of information on Bon Scott and AC/DC.
Unfortunately written in such a way that it can get quite confusing and boring.

#MarchIntoOz #day8 #ItsALongWayToTheTop Coming into the 2nd week of my #photochallenge this is inspired by one of the most famous Aussie bands AC/DC. I‘m a massive Bon Scott fan, the only decent album they did after he died was Back In Black & a lot of that was written by Bon.Born 9/07/46 in Scotland before his family emigrated to Australia,Bon combined Scots puckish charm with Aussie larrikin & lived life at full speed till his death in 1980.🎶🤘

#BookMail today was this pre-order, an "unofficial" biography of Bon Scott, the original AC/DC frontman who died too young in 1980. A quintessential Aussie larrakin, with a lot of Scots thrown in, Bon was charismatic, funny, irreverent & charming but he was also unpredictable, dangerous & an alcoholic. I adore Bon, I refuse to listen to AC/DC post-Bon & the way the Youngs have been so secretive & full of crap makes me angry. Rock on Bon?

josie281 Ooohhh. I want to read this! 8y
