Just an update for the kittens that know about my friend. Her husband was arrested today. She won‘t be in to work tomorrow but fingers crossed that this is the first step in her healing process!

Crazeedi I read one of your previous posts, so good to hear this, I hope she has support and can heal. Such a horrific thing she must have had to live with 3y

CocoReads @Crazeedi thank you. She does not really have much family support but we, at work, are a small department with a family feel, so we‘re trying to be her support. 3y

Lynnsoprano So glad that you are there for her. It sounds awful, but his having been arrested will hopefully put them both on better paths, preferably separate. 3y

CocoReads Thanks Littens. Here‘s an update: he‘s probably getting out today. I don‘t get how they can let a violent felon out (yep, this isn‘t his first party) knowing that he‘s going to go after her. His family has already showed up to threaten her. She‘s a basket case snd so are we. I‘m angry, disappointed and out of ideas. Other than her going into hiding 3y

Crazeedi @CocoReads can she go to a womans shelter for protection? Or stay somewhere he doesnt know? Hopefully has a PFA 3y

CocoReads @Crazeedi Michigan. She called victims services and she‘s in a hotel with her kids for at least a week. He has a court hearing sometime next week so I‘m hoping something good happens there (for her-he can have something unpleasant happen to him) 3y
