There‘s a Frog in my Throat by Loren Leedy and Pat Street is a great book for learning about different poetry techniques such as simile, metaphor, idiom, proverb, etc. Would have great use when creating poetry. #ucflae3414f17

Madiwright97 http://teacher.scholastic.com/fairs/currconnection/downloads/cc_frog_throat.pdf this activity allows students to match the saying with the true meaning. It teaches them different poetry techniques and what they really mean. Love this activity! 6y
JocelynNolton This sounds like an awesome wsy to teach language to not only ELL's but the entire class. I also like the idea of matching terms, I think that'll be helpful. 6y
