I found this at Dollar Tree a couple months back & since I love a fun cozy mystery, I grabbed it for a future palate cleanser after heavy reading. This is the 13th installment of a cozy southern mystery series & I was able to jump right in with enough back story woven in that I didn't feel clueless about the characters.
By the end, they felt like old friends & I'll definitely keep an eye for more in this series!

Relaxing this evening and wondering what I've gotten myself into.
Husband & I decided to do a no-spend December and now I'm like, "...but does that *really* include books??!"

kyraleseberg @mgallo1968 I do, usually twice a week! Unfortunately my TBR consists mostly of books the library doesn't have 😢 But I always find a book or two that I didn't know I wanted to read until I stumbled across it on the shelf 😉 7y

After finishing the final installment in the Shades of Magic series, I need a lighthearted read & this #dollartree find looks like it'll fit the bill!
I'm testing out gingerbread recipes today to create an Oh Snap! Cookie recipe for broken Gingerbread men 😉
