This book was so...not good. And I think it could have been!

Hi #readathon people! I‘m going to start by finishing the novel I‘m in the middle of, so I can check it off my list! I don‘t have an official TBR pile for today, so I‘ll play it by ear as the day goes along. In the background of this pic is one of my basset hounds, Holly. She‘s confused as to why we are up at 7AM on a Saturday. Silly dog, it‘s time for reading!

This one ended up being just ok for me. While it did a great job of detailing what it‘s like to study abroad and be young and unencumbered and free it completely let me down in the mystery department. There‘s a blurb on the front that says there‘s a murder mystery but...unless it was hiding somewhere I didn‘t see one. Just not at all what I expected. 🌟🌟🌟

This one also came in from the lovely Andrea Dunlap!! The cover is so pretty I had to carry it with me when we took a little drive to St. Pete, FL. It just begs for a pic by the water 😉! Thank you to Andrea and @simonbooks for the copy!

Cinfhen It does deserve a watery background 👍🏻 8y

This book was the perfect dose of dreamy and whimsical, carefully tinged with sorrow and heartbreak. It was about the possibility of everything – the feeling before the storm, and I loved every second of it.

I loved this book so much! I couldn't put it down – even with two kids in the mix 😂

I loved the French atmosphere and slow-burn suspense of this one. Great read.
