YA books, I hope I like them.
My allegiance to the House of Night series and the authors is why I found myself reading The Dysasters. (The first seven books of H.O.N were the best, Untamed being the ultimate gift.) But back to The Dysasters, it isn't House of Night nor should it be but getting through this book felt Iike homework. Hopefully with this marked as a potential series it gets better along the way. And so I wish it well.
I'm loving and hating this at the same time. I'm half way through the book and I feel like there's not enough book left to tell the story. But I have faith in the Casts. I'm sure they won't let me down!?!?
P.C. and Kristin Cast, the # 1 New York Times bestselling authors of the House of Night phenomenon, return to the scene with The Dysasters—the first action-packed novel in a new paranormal fantasy series.
This book had an interesting premise, but the forced relationships between the characters are just awkward.
