In the tradition of Go Ask Alice and Lucy in the Sky, a harrowing account of anorexia and addiction. She was a good girl from a good family, with everything she could want or need. But below the surface, she felt like she could never be good enough. Like she could never live up to the expectations that surrounded her. Like she couldnt do anything to make a change. But there was one thing she could control completely: how much she ate. The less she ate, the betterstrongershe felt. But its a dangerous game, and there is such a thing as going too far Her innermost thoughts and feelings are chronicled in the diary she left behind.

i read somewhere that these anonymous diaries are faked by some mormon lady to scare kids away from drugs and eating disorders but this book seems so real. it also kinda seems like a manual on how to be anorexic so it‘s pretty triggering

I swear I‘m going to finish my rereads, but I had to pick up this from library. I have to see if it‘s more realistic than Go Ask Alice. 👍🏻🤣🤣🤦🏻‍♀️ I have a feeling I‘ll be laughing more than scared.

zsuzsanna_reads We had to read Go Ask Alice for school when I was quite young and before I knew it was fake. 5y
Megabooks @zsuzsanna_reads That‘s what I heard from a lot of people, both on Litsy and IRL back in college. Idk why I didn‘t have it. But I did get scared out of unsafe sex by a Lifetime movie where the woman got HIV from one night of unprotected sex! That movie was shown in 9th grade health. 5y

This was a quick read. It's sad to see just how much anorexia can warp some people's views on reality. This one was written in a "Dear Diary" form. Definitely recommend.

I felt that this one was more of a story than the others, but the impact it made by making you look at anorexia in a new and different light is just astonishing, I recommend you all should read this, because someone you know could be suffering from this. And if you know, maybe you can help!

Love anonymous. These diary like books are eye opening and super sad but they make you think about things.
