I was recommended this book by my penpal. And I was hesitant at first but all I heard were good things about it.& it was fantastic. I love the different arcs that are taken throughout. First person for the story and third for the present. I really loved the different vocabulary that was used. I already ordered the second book and right now the third is set to come out next year and I really hope it doesn't get put off again cause that would suck.

My next three books after I finish Name of the Wind sometime this weekend. 2 are Kickstarter books. Knights of Ashera is a new comic that looks awesome. And Blood is a sequel about vampires in 1800s London. Then after those two quick reads I'll finish off with the lovely and always classy Mr Dresden. It's been awhile since I read the last one and I'm looking forward to it.

In vacation in Spain and stumbled upon a little store that only sold rubber duckies! So I popped in and looked around, and right when I was getting ready to leave I saw this cute thing and just had to have it. 😍😂

Took me awhile to finish this one but that's not anything bad about the book, I've just been in a bit if a reading slump with my vacation coming up! But I had to finish before going and I did today! I literally cried at chapter 39 (there are 40). I was so emotional! I cannot wait for the ebook to drop next month and then the final book in the series later this year! 😮😍

This guy is an asshole. DO NOT BUY HIS WORK. This link shows him arguing with an almost fan because she decided to leave his group after he posted a purge post telling non fans to get out because they don't support him. He even called her a bitch. That is not a way to treat people.

This was good. It took me a while to get through it but I took a lot out of it. I marked it up like crazy- which I've never done to a book before but I think whenever I go to pick it back up those little notes will help me.

Haven't been much for reading lately. But I've been keeping busy crocheting. I did a scarf that you can see on Insta and I'm back at my huge queen sized waffle stitch blanket. I'm about 2/3 of the way done with it hoping to finish it soon! I will feel a ton better once this mammoth is finished

I am just at a stalemate with the books I'm currently in the middle of. I have read maybe 100 pages in the last week... So I'm going to escape (wink wink) into this one before the final book comes out later this year. Hoping it'll break my slump and I can get back into/finish those others I'm struggling with

I've been having some real problems with my depression lately and started listening to Dan Harris's podcast so I thought I'd pick up his book as well.

I have a pen with me... Now I've never written in a book and just thinking about underlining stuff is kinda giving me some anxiety. Lol. But I know I'm going to want to look back and stuff and read it again( I do not currently have post its with me)

This one was really good. More people showing up with powers plus a super hot guy turned badguy.

It's hard to review a book with such sensitive information. The story was one of a 14yrold girl, whose parents are going through a divorce&this magical teacher shows up one day& tells her everything she wants to hear.
There is a ton of mistakes in the book-grammerly speaking- dates that aren't right, dates that don't follow other dates& basic misspellings.
But overall I think it's a book most kids should read to know the tricks that pedos can use.

Finally finished this! And ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I loved this book. I never really wanted to put it down but stress and life had me holding off on it until I could put my full self into reading it. I have already added Stiletto to my April reads stack! 😍

Got me some book mail! Since I loved Rook from literally page 1 I went ahead and got Stiletto and also picked up another comic. Fables book 8. I love the fairy tale retellings and this one just is crazy! Slowly making my way through the series.

I've been stressed out lately! It's been putting a real damper on my reading times. I just feel like I have a thousand things going through my mind all the time (when it's only like 2 things) and feel like I can't focus. Then not being able to focus stresses me out. 😂😟

I really like this book and just want to pick it up and finish it( 180/490) but I can only sit for like 5minutes at a time. Any suggestions to help focus and get rid of stress??

While rewatching season 7 before the season 8 premiere next month I finished this little thing. :) It's nice and lightweight for this coming spring.

Such a cute book! I really wish I had picked this up when I was small. Such imagination and a kid could really get carried away with it.

So I've been listening to this mammoth while going on my runs. Im about 6 runs in all around 20 minutes each and am only 4hours and 24mins in(I listen at 2x) and that's only page 132 in the book! Wow! Idk what I thought it would be but farther than that. I'm listening at about the rate I read at.

Idk what I wanted with this post but I just thought that listening at 2x would be faster than me sitting down to read. 🤷

I love book errors. I'm not sure why exactly but I've always gotten a kick out of them. This isn't the first I have seen in this book but it's one that definitely had me do a double take. It's a lower case L not an I. 😂😂

Flew through this! Even for a comic I went through it fast. I hadn't read anything about it at all so i thougt this was just going to be a companion/retelling to the original trilogy. But man! It's a prequel about the king! 😮 Can't wait for #2 to hot shelves

Got my Flick the Wick box today! Februarys theme was VE Schwab so I had to get it! Got some great smelling candles and a real pretty pillow cover along with a tumbler and pin.

Since I've been on the couch/floor most of the day I have moved on to my bed where hopefully I can get some reading done and wake up fully functional tomorrow for work.

Thank you for the well wishes. My back has mostly gotten better. Still pretty uncomfortable but I went from like a 9 when I woke up this morning to about a 4 now.

So I have done.... Something to my lower back. 🤷 Woke up to some severe discomfort and barely being able to walk. So here I am laying on the floor with my legs on the couch hoping to ease that uncomfortableness. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

While all the boys are watching UFC tonight, I'm going to sit down and start another scarf. Getting ready for some more snow here in the Midwest.

This book is so good! You don't realize how much the news sway things until you are the one in it. I love reading these books from a POC perspective because I am not one. I think we need many more of these books and will buy every single one.
