I enjoyed reading this #ebook for my #bookclub. The writer examines how different cultures approach certain aspects of parenting. I appreciated that the author never took a judging or condemning tone towards other parents' or cultures' parenting practices. Instead, her tone always stayed one of interest and curiosity. This is a great book for parents or those simply interested in other cultures' ways of life.
I read A LOT of #multiethnic books. In fact, I just finished a multiethnic graphic novel and am in the middle of another graphic novel and an ebook focusing on Native Americans and African Americans respectively. This one is going to be the next #ebook on my list. My traveling #bookclub is focusing on Argentina this month, so I thought this would be a unique book for that discussion. The title really caught my attention! #JuneBookBugs
Reading this for a piece I'm writing. Eating hamachi kama(yellowtail collar) grilled in the oven. Lupcheong (Chinese sausage) omelette and stirfried caixin. Not pictured miso tofu soup with mushrooms
