The border’s closed, Jake said. No one can get into Scotland, just like no one can cross the Channel . . . This is England and it’s no longer a free country. I chose this because the cover looked interesting and the synopsis was very good.

Overall, this book was a great book, but I could not get into it. It had great characters and a great story line, but I couldn't get into it. I would still recommend it for how much of it I actually read.
