Word for Day 28 of #ScarathlonDailyPrompts was Guilt.

Hated this but it fits the prompt!

So far I have only collected the word “guilt” 9 times from my October reading. To be fair, I am only collecting words from Kindle books since I can search at the end of reading each book.

5feet.of.fury For physical books I make a little book mark with the words and tally them off as I go, search function comes in handy for the ebooks for sure 2y
Kimberlone @5feet.of.fury I could definitely do that but it‘s just too distracting for me to be paying attention to those words while I am reading 2y
mabell I wondered about that! I thought it would be really distracting to keep track while reading 2y
5feet.of.fury @Kimberlone I getcha, it works for me and makes me not skim over things because I‘m focused on the words, but you gotta do what‘s fun for you! 2y

Well, I caved and finally broke my #bookbuyingban! Technically my goal was to buy no more than 5 books a month, but I haven‘t bought any since Novemberish, so I didn‘t really want to break that rhythm. I don‘t feel guilty about it though, as I‘ve been working hard to chip away at my personal collection with #TheUnreadShelfProject and #MarchUnshelfing. I also made a point of buying books that weren‘t available on Cloudalibrary. AND they were 3/$10!

tracey38 I'd say you did an amazing job since you haven't bought any since around November! And got a great deal! 5y

Why did I listen to this on until the end? Repetitive, boring, slow moving, predictable, simply not worth it. There were no other audios available, so I ended up listening to this one. Not a psychological thriller, no twists, no surprises, no point. Don‘t bother reading it. I don‘t like to write a review like this ☹️

So I couldn‘t get this book out of my head. I read the back and decided I would pick it up later. I forgot to write down the name and couldn‘t remember it! By chance I came across it today! I took a picture so I can get it next time from the library! I‘m lucky it was such a striking cover that caught my eye, that and one of the characters shares my first name which doesn‘t happen that often! :) #bibliophile #mustread #thriller #bookworm

3.5 stars. 2 sisters, one killed by the other, and a boyfriend playing both against each other. Chilling fast paced thriller, let down by the ending, for me.
