I think financial literacy is so important especially for women. This book was extremely easy to read, informative and based on an interesting concept. Not all of it was for me but it did clarify some things and got me thinking about financial goals and how to reach them.

JSW One of the best pieces of advice I received upon getting married was to start a retirement plan and the best money I‘ve ever spent is hiring a financial consultant. 6y

Joanne1 @JSW topping up my super (or retirement fund) is one of my goals. Sadly, in Australia financial advisers have earned themselves a very bad reputation. There's currently a royal commission into the sector after widespread corrupt practices. Fortunately though both my Dad and brother are accountants so I am getting some solid advice from them. 6y

Kids in bed, husband O/S, Commonwealth Games on the telly while I do a spot of reading and enjoy a glass of wine. Think I need some virtual bookish company this Saturday night. Anyone else up to something as exciting as me? Come and keep me company.
(PS also avoiding my LIS assignment).
