I was really pleased with this book. The watercolor art is beautiful. And the storyline is great. Highly recommended if you like the graphic novel format.

Matt Kindt is one of my faves and His works have always been must reads... and this trailer park (or rural) noir comic is no exception. Loving this story and the art is top notch. Really looking forward to volume 2.

I recently read volume 1 of Grass Kings. Intriguing story, beautiful art. A few days ago I brought home volume 2 to read!

Such a masterpiece. Imagine The Walking Dead, but without zombies and with people still populating the world. Grass Kings is the story of a splinter town, the Grass Kingdom and the lives of its residence as the world and neighboring town Cargill push back. This book will constantly have you guessing what way of life “is right.” Through in an a cereal killer still on the loose and the personal growth of main character Robert for added measure.

Next graphic novel. The art in this is interesting. Not my usual style, but the colors are lovely, especially in this spread. I wasn't too sure about the story at first, but I've read three chapters, and it's intriguing me. #graphicnovels
