I'm forcing myself to finish this, but only out of sheer stubbornness. If you love Orson Scott Card, stay away from this one. It's 350 pages of repetitive drivel and inane pseudo-philosophy. Not even in the same realm as the rest of the series. If you haven't tried Card yet, don't let this review discourage you! The rest of this series (Ender's Game, Speaker for the Dead, and Xenocide) are fantastic.

Home and sick and can‘t even really focus on listening to a story, but my eyes can‘t look at a book and, eh to tv. But my cat stays by my side.

All the stories are fiction, what matters is, which fiction you believe.

Anyone who has made it this far will most likely enjoy this satisfying conclusion. While not as profound as xenocide, it sure was a great adventure riding alongside so many characters and aliens I‘ve grown to know and love.

I‘ve completed a childhood goal of mine, finding out what happens after Enders game and I‘m just filled with lots and lots of love for this universe.

I suck at writing reviews but here goes. Even though I didn't think it was quite as good as the rest of the Ender Quartet, I think it was a satisfying enough conclusion to the series. It was a bit slow in places, but it still kept me interested until the end. Overall, I enjoyed this book & give it a 3.5/5 stars. This was my "C" pick for #LitsyAtoZ2018 & my "About Space/Astronauts" choice for #LRC2018 (a bit of a stretch, but close enough?)

I'm determined to complete the #LitsyAtoZ2018 challenge & can FINALLY say I'm making progress! I finished my X pick, Xenocide, and just started my new choice for C. I decided to finish Ender's Saga & choose new books for letters E, T, & Y instead of reading Eddings' The Dreamers series. With the end of the year closing in, I have to improvise! I suppose if I scrap my original list I can use some of the books from my #TBR that I read this year? 🤔

It was definitely slow for a while but started getting exciting and kept up the pace to the end. Better than Xenocide but I felt like the rest of the Quintet never matched the draw of Ender's Game.

This book, while good, wasn't quite on par with the first three books in the series.
This line was strikingly beautiful, though.
