I think I may have hit the 🦈 jump. I read 70 pages on Sunday & haven‘t touched it since. I was reading these nonstop. The reverse harem storyline that has developed isn‘t my cup of tea but mostly the problem is the plotting has fallen way off & it‘s not holding my attention. It‘s possible I will try again some other time but for now this is a bail & I‘m moving on to some other series. It was fun while it lasted. #urbanfantasy
There's so much in this novel that reflects how things are in reality, today.
People complain about the sex in this series but, to me, it promotes body positivity. Anita is sexually forward and positive, and it shows a woman's right to choose how she wants to treat her body. I love that. I understand why others won't, but that's their deal not mine.
Also, it touches on the small-mindedness of some and how that affects the treatment of others.
