It is very short just over 200 pages. Set in Edinburgh where earthquakes and volcanic eruptions occur often. Surtsey finds the dead body of her lover and boss on a new volcanic island called The Inch. It was gripping to the end. #crimenovel

I thought this was a pretty smart story, which focuses on a young, ambitious seismologist who discovers her lover dead on a remote volcanic island. Its a mix of whodunnit & psychological thriller from there. Really engaging characters, plenty of sharp twists and a good pace throughout🌟🌟🌟🌟

pickI loved this! Extremely gripping. I think I've read so many crime novels now that I'm starting to guess culprits more often, half way through I knew who this one would be. Didn't spoil it though, I did not see the finale coming.
