Next up . . . Again drawn to the cover. And it was 99p.

Rejoining serial reader. Might make me stop working through lunch!
A bit slow to start but really enjoyed it in the end. Liked all the different voices we heard from.
Loved. She really does tell a gripping tale. I worked out the culprit half way through but this doesn't distract from a cracking read, just makes me feel like Miss Marple. Looking forward to #3 🤞
Next up . . . Back on home turf with the second one of this series
Another good Australian read, although didn't feel the Australianess (new word!) as much as in other books
The last quarter redeemed it a bit but most of the time I just wasn't sure what was going on.
What s wonderful book. Brought a wee year to my eye at the end.
A book borrowed from a friend is next. As always reading with the dust jacket on just in case I damage it.
This was a nice little crime story, nice little twist I didn't see coming
Next up . . . This is set not far from where I live. My only motivation for buying it!
A bit of bleak read but quite profound. Situations across the world could really happen anywhere and that's a scary thought
Next up . . . Leaving Australia for Ireland
Next up . . . Continuing with Unruly and the 2nd DS Walker book. My obsession with outback noir continues.
Ending the year on 23 reads. Wasn't sure about this book, it dragged and then suddenly turned into a past paced winner. Here's to 2024, as we say in Scotland, lang may yer lum reek!
Gearing up for 2024 with a wee reread 🤣
Next up . . . My kindle read, feel I might need a break from the history hardback. Heading back to Australia for some more murder!
Next up . . . Not sure why this Scottish person wants to read this but I'm looking forward to it
Always a pleasure to listen to Sir Billy's ramblings
I loved the story, quite different. For a short book it took me ages to read. I think I've reached an age where I need bigger text.
Feeling in the need of a comforting evening so a rewatch (for goodness knows how many times) of my favourites Poirot 😍
Any excuse to buy a book. Asda didn't have what I want. It's hard to get out without a purchase. No brainer 🤷♀️
Next up on the Kindle . . . I'm only on page one and I can already hear his voice loud and clear
I enjoyed reading about this short period of his life. Always one of my favourites
Next up . . . Really getting into these autobiographies. Who knew?!?
Well. Alright, alright, alright. I enjoyed this a lot. Could hear his voice throughout. Quite the philosopher.
Also going to start this. Quite liking this two book approach to reading. Also liking my new found love of autobiographies.
It's been a while since I read the first one but the story came back quickly. Felt like nit a had a slightly anti climatic ending but still enjoyed it.
An interesting read. When you watch someone in a favourite show you have no inkling of what their real life is like.
Next up . . . A colleague added it to our works library, seems like the right time to start it 😢
I can't believe I've given an Atkinson a so-so. The writing, as always, was tremendous, but it took me a long time to get into it, and I'm not really sure I liked how it ended.
I feel mildy like I should get more reads in before the end of the year so started this while waiting jn the car. Very unlike me to have more than one book on the go.
Taking a wee rest from my other book (proper books are a struggle with the new varifocals 🤓) and really enjoying this one. Could be a movie, very exciting 😀
Next up . . . This one was one I needed to buy as soon as it came out only for it to sit on my shelf until now 🤣
I was doing so well, until the last 30 pages or so 😭 what a joyous but heart-wrenching read
I really do like her books. I did guess two plot points but this always makes me happy 😊 like I'm Marple or something!
Last holiday read . . . Good old reliable Jo Spain
Brilliant autobiography, very cleverly done. I have not found a book by Maggie I haven't liked
