The world is about to face the deadliest biological weapon ever known. Lexi is a typical 21st century teenager growing up in Perth, where family barbeques and days at the beach fill her weekends. When a virus unexpectedly spreads to Australia, Lexi's future is changed forever. She must quickly learn to adapt in this new world, where every day threatens to be her last. Through trial, triumph and friendship, Lexi must find her inner strength and determination, lead the outback town of Jasper's Bay and provide a future for herself, her sister, and everyone they hold dear.

Couldn‘t quite make it to the #top22of22 @Cinfhen but I got to 17! Many are backlist classics that have won praise - but I‘d like to point ppl towards (the maybe forgotten treasure) The Death of Vishnu - which along with We Have Always Lived in the Castle are my top 2. Also I‘ll Be Right There - if you loved Memory Police or Human Acts - this could be for you. Some great non fiction and I was thrilled to fall in love with a mystery series again!

Cinfhen Yay!!! Thanks for sharing & posting!!! I need to take a closer l👀k because these old eyes need a bigger screen 😍 1y
LeahBergen What a great list! I‘m going to have to ponder on mine. 🤔 1y
Cinfhen I‘ve added three books to read for next year and I was tempted to add another one until I saw the page count was 678 pages 😅😐 (edited) 1y

Centique @Cinfhen I‘m so glad you found something you hadn‘t read in there! Yes that book is long 😆 it‘s a mix of science and history, so not everyone‘s cup of tea anyway but I loved it. 1y

batsy Taking notes from this list 😍 The Evaristo has been left to languish for too long on my shelf. Loved Castle and so happy to see Chemistry in here... I loved Joan is Okay, as well! 1y
Centique @batsy I love the Evaristo I‘m sure because I love a multiple POV. I feel like I‘ve seen every side and angle of her story 😍 I‘m so excited to read Joan is Okay, soon I hope! 1y
Megabooks Fantastic choices!! 1y
