This was a story in the Ghosts of the Shadow Market collection. It's part of the Shadowhunter universe, focusing on the children of the protagonists in The Infernal Devices series. In this story, Anna lightwood craves to be her full and honest self, and that self is a talented Shadowhunter, funny and mischievous queer girl. Sooooo......I thought I was happy with the first three stories from the Shadow Market collection but this one was wonderful. So much to love about this entire short story. I‘m super happy to see the introduction of a lesbian Shadowhunter to the mix. And for it to be happening in a very Victorian setting. I really can not wait to see what Anna Lightwood gets up to in The Last Hours. Anna has so much swag y‘all...you don‘t even know.

This was a great addition to the stories within the shadowhunter world. This was short. I still want to read of the son of the dawn.

My 3rd book in 2 hours...Guess I'm finishing all in the series today.

Lots of Audio and Short Reads this month. Favorite Read - Every Exquisite Thing. I've wanted to read Anna Lightwoods story ever since she was mentioned in The Bane Chronicles. Least Favorite Read - I Am Legend. Just plain creepy and depressing.🤓
