Get used to blurbs. I am not much of a review person. I am way too opinionated! Anyway, this was a good read. It reads like “The Diary of Anne Frank” in that it is written from the perspective of a teenage girl‘s diary. It was not a “can‘t put this down” but kept me interested.

When a strange and deadly disease breaks out on an island, Kaelyn must learn to cope with heartbreak while trying to make it off the island alive. An interesting apocalyptic novel, well worth a read. The whole trilogy is, in fact. 3/5 stars

Had the opportunity to meet the author at a book festival, and hear her talk about this novel. I read it the next day. Quick read. Well written. Realistic characters. You will root for her brother!!
