The Amazing Screw-On Head and Other Curious Objects | 
pick4/150 I'm not sure how to describe this. It's dark, gothic, kind of steampunkish, but also has the flavor of old pulpy adventure stories. Screw-On head works for President Lincoln, as an agent investigating strange and occult events. It's actually pretty funny, in a dark quirky way.

pickAwesomely cool! The short comics are hilariously brilliant, for many rereads, enjoying the tales and arts, and how they mysteriously blend together. I loved the tale of 'The Magician and the Snake'. All of these are the best in steampunk eerie fantasy. 🔮

Day 10 of the #Riotgrams challenge: comics! I own a lot of comics, but my prized possession is The Amazing Screw-On Head one-off by Mike Mignola (creator of Hellboy, by favorite comic.) It was made into a TV pilot, which wasn't picked up, but remains the best 22 minutes of television I've seen. I have a tattoo of Screw (next to a Baba Yaga's chicken leg house illustration from Hellboy.) 📚💗🤘🏻
