Burfoot, a former Boston Marathon champion and lifelong runner, provides tons of sage (and pretty basic) advice of how to make your running sustainable, safe, goal-oriented, injury-avoidant and most importantly, fun. In summing up his attitude towards running shoes, pacing, nutrition etc., Burfoot provides the acronym KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid).
