I put off reading this book because I didn‘t want the series to be over 😢 Darkest London is one of my favorite series ever. And this final book was so good.
Layla Starling is coming into her own, becoming what she was born to be. That is causing a lot of problems around London - especially for St. John.
My attention was starting to wane a few books back because the Darkest London couples are annoying, abusive, and/or boring. But I do enjoy the world they live in and I kept reading, wanting to see how the series would wrap up.
It did so very neatly. Was it an amazing end? No, but this was light, fluffy, and just entertaining enough for a decent bedtime read.
A 'good' ending to a 'great' series... 4/5 stars... The ending was slightly lacking for me but in no way was it disappointing... I've loved this series and I'm sad it has ended... Reviewed on Goodreads 😊
Love this series! Excited to read the last instalment but I'll be sad when I reach the end 😌
A satisfying conclusion to an unforgettable paranormal series--Library Journal
Melinda reviews this last book in the Darkest London series. While she's sad to see them end she's happy they're ending on a high note.

I love being back in this world! But guess what? I'm reading this out of order. I still need to catch up on books 2-5. Normally reading out of order is maddening for me but not with this series. Kristen Callihan is amazing at filling you in on the details.
