Not a lot of chills or thrills to be found here, somewhat predictable in parts and not particularly suspenseful...and yet there is something about this story which held my attention. It‘s a pleasant little ghostly story, featuring a malevolent house which needs the truth to be told. #NetGalley
I‘m actually enjoying this, it‘s not quite as creepy as I had hoped but there is enough happening to hold my interest. I love old houses and their secrets.

The tagged book just wasn't my thing.

I'm having trouble getting interested in the tagged book. Weird things happen, such as time warps and a mysterious disappearing woman. My overall feeling is "so what?" There's also a "sort-of" attraction going on between the two female characters that at this point seems just plopped into the middle of things. Plus, one of the male characters has a hair-trigger temper that's jarring. I'll muddle on a little longer and see if it gets better.

Current read is the tagged book. Slightly creepy mystery; not too far into it, yet, but so far so good.
