Three Little Words | Jenny Holiday
6 posts | 12 read | 4 to read
In this laugh-out-loud romantic comedy, USA Today bestselling author Jenny Holiday proves that opposites don't just attract, they ignite. Gia Gallo is officially in bridesmaid hell. Stranded in New York with her best friend's wedding dress, Gia has six days to make it to Florida in time for the ceremony. And oh-so-charming best man Bennett Buchanan has taken the last available rental car. Looks like she's in for one long road trip with the sexiest - and most irritating - Southern gentleman she's ever met... Bennett's pretty sure that if there was ever a woman to break his "no flings" rule, Gia would be it. Sure, she's stubborn. She's also funny, smart, and the attraction between them is getting hotter with every state line they cross. While Bennett doesn't do casual, Gia doesn't do "relationships." But if they break the rules, this unlikely pair might discover that their impromptu road trip could turn out to be the best ride of their lives. "The perfect rom-com." -Refinery29 on One and Only "When it comes to creating unputdownable contemporary romances, Holiday is in it to win it." -Booklist "Holiday combines class and sass with a hefty dose of humor." -Publishers Weekly The Bridesmaids Behaving Badly series:One and OnlyIt Takes TwoMerrily Ever After: a novellaThree Little Words

Finally a series I read in order! 😆 This is Book 3 of the Bridesmaid Behaving Badly trilogy. Not my fave of the three but still fun. My fave was Jane & Cam‘s story (book 1).

Book 37 for #winterreadathon

MatchlessMarie I was gonna tease you on your Manhattan series post. I was going to ask if they were stand-alones or if you were unhinged 😂 I think it would be hard for me to try to read a series out of order. 2y
wanderinglynn @MatchlessMarie That was the order my holds came in – it‘s the only downside to library books! But the great thing about romance is they are almost like stand alones. You can read them out of order without confusion because each book is about 1 couple‘s story. 2y
MatchlessMarie @wanderinglynn ok that makes sense. I think I have seen something similar with fairytale retellings that are in a series as well. 2y

It is in the 70s and gorgeous out today. Met up with a friend for a long walk at the Nature Park. Now home with a custard sundae and starting this book.

Added three paperbacks to my collection. I read an ARC of Vengeance Road, but have not read the other two yet. #romantsy #bookhaul

I had been soooo excited to read this story because I wanted Gia‘s story! Though, if it hadn‘t been for knowing her from the prequels, I would‘ve thought very poorly of her at the start. Even with the knowledge I had, it was hard to swallow her behavior for part of this book. Thankfully, the Gia that I had known started to emerge & that made this story much more enjoyable.
