Loved it! Why are so many books labelled YA when they could just as easily be read by anyone - young and old (ahem!)! A soft apocalypse: no cannibals, zombies, violence, dictators, just a gradual slide in to ‘no more humans‘. A seemingly harmless virus renders everyone, without exclusion, infertile. This book looks at what it is to be human. Lovely lovely book. And actually, there is a bit of action, so don‘t think it‘s a damp squib 😉
