A fairly good reading, but not knock-down exciting. I liked it well enough to want to read the second installment when it comes out. My full review is on www.janecairns.com.

1. Enjoyed it okay, but was annoyed during a few parts as it seemed to drag. Will write a review of it here soon.
2. Buy usually, even though I'm retired.
3. Can't think of one at the moment, even though I'm sure there has to be some.
4. Pizza, maybe?
5. Green Tent

Thanks for the cards, @kaye . I'll respond with a letter within a few days. 🙂💕
I've been reading the tagged book for what seems like forever and I'm still only about half way through. I like it well enough so far, I guess, but it could be a little faster paced. I'll persevere as I promised the author to review it on my blog.
1. Read 48 books in 2019.
2. Increase the number of reviews I write
3. Write more poetry
4. Find a second bookish penpal and write faithfully to both
5. Attend a book fair or festival

My next read is waiting in the wings.
#Magicalrealism
1. Write a book review for my blog.
2. Errands to run today. Mac and cheese tonight. Reading later and tomorrow.
3. Pfeffernuse (spice drops)
4. The Paris Review literary journal
5. @LapReader
Sorry I'm a little late with this.

I'll be starting these two books within the next few days. Both seem to involve magical realism. I'll review them when I'm finished.
