I started The Crescent Stone last night. It is my number 12 for #bookspin Only 36 pages in because I got sleepy. Not the book's fault but work's fault. So far so good.

Pickpick

I enjoyed this story. It is a stand-alone, but it might be easier to follow the characters if you had already been introduced to them in the tagged book. I like the spirit of the story, which is about the meaning of Christmas and family - both the kind you‘re born into and the kind you make for yourself. It‘s also about the power of story! I am intrigued about the tagged book and will look into it more now.

I haven‘t read any of the Sunlit Lands series, but this standalone story is free for Kindle right now, and it‘s a Christmas tale! I have read Mikalatos before and enjoy his writing, so I‘m going to give this a go. My only concern is that it will make me want to read the series! 😂😂😂
