Bye-Bye!
Bye-Bye! | Carol Zeavin, Rhona Silverbush
2 posts | 1 read | 1 to read
It's hard for toddlers to say goodbye sometimes, especially to Mom and Dad! Even if it's for a short amount of time, Mom and Dad reassure them not to worry because they will always come back. Bye-Bye! is a book written for toddlers about separation. Written with simple language and reflective of children's realities, the Terrific Toddlers series is based on understanding of the developmental level of young toddlers. Includes a "Note to Parents and Caregivers" about helping toddlers with saying goodbye.

This one's a gem. For anyone who has Netflix I recommend checking it out.

2pts for #TeamStoker
#Scarathlon

LauraJ I liked this one too. 👋 5y
BeansPage @LauraJ yeah it was not too bad. Better than some of the other crap that Netflix has LOL 5y
LauraJ @TheReadingMermaid agreed! I‘ve started and quit three horror movies tonight. I‘m just going to watch my own DVD‘s. Drag Me to Hell (Director‘s Cut) is up next! 5y
BeansPage @LauraJ oh I love that one! Sam Raimi's return to horror!!! I remember that one and Paranormal Activities came out around the same time and I remember that one being scarier than Paranormal Activities, which was laughable in my opinion. 5y
LauraJ Agreed. Those movies were crap. 5y

3⭐️ This book is supposed to be a lesson to parent on how to handle “bye byes”. There is even a note to parents page in the back. The story is simple enough, and nice enough. If I have any complaints it‘s that “always comes back” is the constant refrain. The notes to parents says to have a constant refrain, and I do this too (with my dogs: Bye Bye babies, I‘ll be back”) but it‘s the “always” that gets me. Always isn‘t always.
