This one is an ode to female friendship. It made me want to call my best friends and tell them how much they mean to me.
Of course there are a couple mysteries to solve, and all the interactions with all of our favorite characters.

pickIf I could live briefly in any work of fiction it would be with these charming & delightful characters. Smith‘s love of Africa and Botswana is apparent. He asks all of life‘s questions and studies human nature without being too sappy, serious, or heavy handed, in fact there is a lot of wit & humor. This installment sure had the feel of the end or impending end of the series. 😭😭 That‘s ok, because I can reread them many a time. ❤️
