A pick- for this one. Some great ideas about bringing more joy, inspiration, and love to homeschooling, although I disagree with the fundamental idea that to have a vibrant educational environment at home that you have to abandon the desire for cleanliness. Lots to think about here.

And here we go again...I‘m cruising along, feeling really good about this book I just started, and then there‘s this. Latin is not the language of musical notation, Italian is. Actually, several languages are found in music, which is one of the great educational opportunities in studying music. Now I‘m going to be more tentative in my reading of this book...
It's rare that I want to purchase a book after reading it. But, this book is filled with so many good ideas and things I want to come back to, I will be buying it. It was wonderful.
What are we good at? What are we into? What do we want to feature in our homeschool?
Surprise sparks interest. Mystery sustains it. Think of mystery as the kindling you add to the fire. Surprise strikes the match. Mystery (the unknowable heart of all enterprises) keeps the fire going.
Just what I needed to read during this time of my homeschooling journey. Definitely a help for me dealing with the pressure of people who have never homeschooled but feel the need to tell me I'm doing it wrong. A great read even if you don't want to homeschool.
