⭐️⭐️ N HALF. Just got done with the 1st and 2nd books. I was more interested in finishing them for #bookspinbingo rather than actually enjoying the story. A very weak plot. A mix of X-Men and the Hunger games set up but love triangle romance being the central piece. Major chunk of the narration is the internal monologue of the main protagonist, Juliette. I did get very irritated with her constant self doubts and helpless attitude. Cont.👇#bookspin

BGam Kenji was a good character mainly because he spoke out correctly about Juliette‘s attitude in one of the scenes.. which was well deserved and I m sure many readers would agree with him. The other characters didn‘t appeal to me so much.. anyhow at least they were quick reads to tick off for my #bookspinbingo Happy to read! @TheAromaofBooks 3y
Buechersuechtling 🙇🏽‍♀️ I very much enjoyed your review even if that constant soliloquy and constant self doubts plus helpless attitude made me bail on it quickly years ago. Nice to see your review confirm how few I missed. 😉 3y
