Good. Enjoyed the story and how it developed. The characters were enjoyable. Just a quick warning if you have issues with violence this isn't the book for you as the opening pages are quite graphic.

@Linda_Bloodworth_Author

DivineDiana Thank you for the warning! 6y

Linda_Bloodworth_Author @Birdsong28 Oh, wow! That's wonderful. Thank you! 6y
Ms_T I love that Littens point out triggers. Mine is animal cruelty and Litsy has saved me several times from reading books that contain this 😘📚 6y
Linda_Bloodworth_Author @Ms_T I specifically have a trigger warning in my book, as mentioned here, since there's a scene with bullying and a suicide. Some people don't mind it, but I'd rather be upfront and not be the cause of someone's nightmares. 6y
Linda_Bloodworth_Author @Birdsong28 thank you for your kind words. May I ask what your Amazon handle is? I'd love to heart your review there. Thanks again! 6y
Birdsong28 @Linda_Bloodworth_Author My Amazon handle is Miss V C Frow 😘📚📖 6y
Linda_Bloodworth_Author @Birdsong28 Ah! Thanks. I don't see that name with the Amazon reviews. Maybe it hasn't uploaded yet? Amazon has a funny way of letting review go live. 6y

I really wanted to like this book. The prose and story are interesting; but all the prayers and talk of Gods Plan completely turned me off. I'm not a religious person and don't enjoy reading books with a lot of religion or religious talk. With that being said, I have read similar books and finished them; this was just too much.

Linda_Bloodworth_Author @Literary_Siren I'm sorry to hear that. 6y
Literary_Siren Other than the religious stuff, the book is right up my alley. That kind of stuff turns me off because I had a very religious upbringing. Religion was pretty much stuffed down my throat and I was made to swallow it. @Linda_Bloodworth_Author 6y
SleepyDragon I actually am a religious person, but I don't enjoy Christian Lit very much at all. It isn't necessary to constantly talk about God and praying all the time. It seems forced and unnatural. The occasional, plot appropriate conversation is fine, but even the most religious person doesn't work God into every other sentence. I did 6y
SleepyDragon (Hit the wrong button) read Christian YA growing up, and tried to read adult Christian Lit, but just could never get into it. 6y
Linda_Bloodworth_Author @NeesyBeth the story isn't marketed as a Christian story, it's an angel character who does talk to God. I didn't think that would be an issue to be honest, it seems like a natural fit. And it's not every other word, I don't believe. 6y
