pickShe needs to bring a priceless artifact to be authenticated by a recluse. Men are out to steal it and kill her. She‘s in the forest alone - until her stowaway daughter shows up. This is part of a series, but can be read alone (my mom did that 🤣) I enjoyed the suspense and drama of being on the run. I‘m used to Dodd romance, but that is secondary in this series to the suspense. A great book!
pickThis is so entertaining. My favorite character is the daughter Rae. Her sense of humor if awesome. I‘d like the story before this book regarding Kellen.

2 - Yes! We live on a culdesac so it‘s pretty quiet with little traffic, and we have a cornfield right behind our home giving us a bit of privacy which is nice since we live in town.
