Beware the Night | 
so-soThe actual writing of this book is so-so at times—there were several moments where I‘d felt as though I missed an entire page or where a short, uninteresting dialogue suddenly became important in an unimpressive way. Major incidents/traumas become plot devices rather than human encounters with loss. That being said, the plot itself more than makes up for those slips. It‘s a fun read and definitely well-worth it. Fast-moving plot. Enjoyable 👍🏼
so-soI know how weird this is going to sound but the plot, characters and world development were an absolute hotmess. The entire second half of the book is the girl hoping from scene to scene inbetween two boys and somehow she always accidentally makes out with them. The book also ends in a super weird place and tone...and yes, I'll read the seauel
It is time! 🙌 Hopefully I love. It sounds like it's got some Hunger Games potential which has suddenly spiked my interest with the announcement of the new Hunger Games/Panem book coming in 2020
