really enjoyed this book! The characters were realistic with their imperfections, yet very likable too. I loved the various relationships, not just Susan and Malcolm, but each of their family and friend dynamics too.
It was also fun to learn more of the richness and diversity within Indian culture, and the challenges children face under parents with very high expectations and strict rules
NEWTs HP magical readathon.Career:professor-secondary class=Muggle Studies (A)-prompt-book with actual element in the cover.YA story which means that you will find cheeses scenes. However, through the eyes of Susan & Malcolm you'll see topics like transcultural identity, defining yourself as a young adult, differences in generations, taking a control of yourself, discrimination, war situation, traditions (food😋)3.6⭐️Thanks @hermyknee for the book
4/5🌟 for this #YA #Canlit
I liked the authors writing style and admired the diversity and the realness of the characters and situations they faced as well as the family dynamics. If your looking for a contemporary read thats not overly juvenile look no further!

Typical YA romance. It felt like the author kept trying to make it deeper and more meaningful but it never really worked for me. #mylitbox
