This story starts off well, it‘s quite intriguing. Then it gets a little too far fetched, very implausible in fact. None of the characters are particularly likeable, either. However, it is entertaining, fast paced and easy to read. I was eager to find out who the villain of the piece was. I had my suspicions and was proved correct in the end. An enjoyable and fun psychological thriller, if a tad incredulous. 3.5⭐️ #Pigeonhole

More a psychological thriller than murder mystery, this book looks into how people deal with bad fortune/circumstances.

It‘s been a few days since I‘ve posted about what I‘ve been up to. I‘ve managed to stay on track with my goal of 2 books a day, but things have been super busy with work. Anyways, here‘s my main #BookSpinBingo update. I‘ve finished 12 books from this bingo board(current read is tagged), 3 from my NetGalley board, and 4 from my chirp board - still no bingos though!

This took a really strange turn. I didn‘t love the second half but the final twist was good. 👍🏻

I loved this book way more than I expected myself to! It was full of twists and turns, some of which I saw coming but many were surprising to me, and the second half of the book was a beautiful kind of intensity. The writers ability to give characters depth was perhaps the most impressive part, and she really sent all the characters in directions I‘d have never seen coming. A great book to read, and I‘m excited that it‘s getting adapted for tv.

Simply brilliant!
It is everything you can want from a book. It is witty, it is quite a good mystery and it is sad from time to time. I laugh (probably in some really inappropriate places), I cried because of Nadia fate, and the whole book kept me on the edge of my chair all the time. Bonus – it didn‘t fail in surprising you all the time till the end.

Wait... what? I‘m flip flopping on this but 3/4 of the way done and very confused. If my totally out there grab at a twist is right, I‘m going to be really disappointed and need a serious break from thrillers because I am getting too good at predicting the unpredictable. Haha 🎺 that‘s my own horn I keep tooting.
