This was a simple, enjoyable, & quite predictable chick-lit read. I wanted something light to kickstart 2021 while on holiday, & this ticked the box.
Most of the characters lacked redeeming qualities, except Jack, however, my expectations were low on this one. Funnily enough, I found the characters far more enjoyable in the TV series, & I preferred the direction the story line headed in.
pick46-2019 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Not my usual read but breezed through it in a few hours whilst sitting by the pool on holidays. Wouldn‘t know it‘s the middle of winter!!
Do I now watch the TV Series??
watched the first episode of the tv adaptation of this book. was really cool seeing all the familiar settings and might have some interest in continuing to watch
