We can't get to the beach at the moment as it is outside our 5km limit but I can't wait until we can. Hopefully some of our restrictions will be lifted this weekend
This us my second book in a week set in Michigan and both were great reads.
Currently reading this book. I don't normally read spooky books but love the cover and it's October so why not. Enjoying it so far!
My review is here

Almost makes me wish I was a gardener. Almost!

Time for an #ripxv update! I listened to the audio version of this book which has an introductory section narrated by Richard Armitage (which equals aural bliss) and the rest by Emma Thompson
We also watched Warrior Nun
Super excited to welcome AM Stuart to my blog as part of the Why I Love series

Thoroughly enjoying this book so far! #wwii #historicalfiction
Super excited to visit old friends from Susanna Kearsley's books in the first short story in this collection
Chose this for the cover and the dual timeline. Enjoying the book!
And my library delivery is in! How to decide what to read first
Hairdresser time = solid reading time

Next audiobook! Love this series #sevensisters #audiobook
Take two jigsaw to a friend's house and come home with four books. That's how it works right?
All those things and more on the to do list and I am still seriously tempted by this book!

Super excited to hear that there is going to be a new Virgin River book in a few months!

I love this series, and enjoyed the TV adaptation too. There's also going to be a season 2 as well not too far away hopefully
There is a blogging meme called Top Ten Tuesday this week which asked for the best opening lines of books. This book was mentioned several times. On the basis of the opening line I now want to read it.
The line is
They‘ve never found the body of the first and only boy who broke my heart.
I started listening to this straight after finishing my last #audiobook . Both are set in Ireland but it was a bit jarring to have the same narrator. They are very different books!
The other thing I found jarring was listening to sex scenes. I can read them no problem, no matter how explicit but listening to them is different. I wonder if that is just me though?
Made a fair bit of progress on this #audiobook this week #aussieauthors #awwc
How long before I get distracted by the lure of the next book in a series.
Let's not get stuck on the fact that I have had it on my shelf for more than 10 years
#workinghard
Ended up changing audiobooks to something a bit lighter. Made quite a bit of progress wirh it yesterday #audiobook
I just realised I borrowed this a couple of weeks ago. Guess I better start it before it expires
Also picked up this book on our excursion to the shops #aussieauthors #awwc
Reading some historical fiction set in Australia for the first time in a while. I've read a few WWII books but not much 19th century
#aussieauthors #awwc
I was sure I had read all this author's books but it turns out there were a number I have missed. Rectifying that now
#aussieauthors #awwc
First read this book around 15 years ago. Let's see if it stands up to a reread
Started reading this book at 3am this morning. Read about a quarter of it before deciding I should probably try to sleep
The hard part is trying to decide what to read next. Ended up deciding on this one because I figure I should read all my library books before it reopens (whenever that might be)

@Andrew65 is running an Easter Extravaganza readathon. Check out the details on his page!

What an absolute delight this book was !! Highly recommend
I am looking for comfort reads right now so Alexander McCall Smith generally meets that criteria!
When you are looking for the second book in a series but only seem to own random ones
They are all signed though
Light funny and romantic pretty much describes my reading preferences right now
To work or to read. This is the question
#aussieauthors #workingfromhome #awwc
Currently listening to this when i get the chance. Less commute time means less walking time which in turn means less listening time
I know a couple of people who really love this author. Time for me to see if I agree
First day of working from home and my book is calling my name big time!
Settled into our comfy new chairs reading this book #Saturdaynight #foodiediction #cookthebooks
Went to see the Jean-michel Basquiat exhibition today. Liked this quote!!
Current read. We are heading to France later this year. Even though we already have the itinerary already set I did find myself checking to see if we could fit the champagne area in but not this time. Will just have to go again!! #franceherewecome
When you unexpectedly receive a book! Doesn't happen very often anymore but I do appreciate it when it does #usedtobeabookblogger #awwc #aussieauthors
We just booked our flights for our holiday this year and I'm excited because it includes time in Paris. This seemed like a good choice to read for now. Expect more Paris/French themed books over the coming months
