We can't get to the beach at the moment as it is outside our 5km limit but I can't wait until we can. Hopefully some of our restrictions will be lifted this weekend

This us my second book in a week set in Michigan and both were great reads.

CarolynM Good numbers the last couple of days. Fingers crossed. I'd really like to see my son sometime soon. 4y

Time for an #ripxv update! I listened to the audio version of this book which has an introductory section narrated by Richard Armitage (which equals aural bliss) and the rest by Emma Thompson

Earlier this week I did a blog post about books that are on my shelf that I haven't read and couldn't remember why they were there. One of those books was this one. I started reading it today and it is an utter delight so far!

Super excited to hear that there is going to be a new Virgin River book in a few months!

I love this series, and enjoyed the TV adaptation too. There's also going to be a season 2 as well not too far away hopefully

There is a blogging meme called Top Ten Tuesday this week which asked for the best opening lines of books. This book was mentioned several times. On the basis of the opening line I now want to read it.

The line is

They‘ve never found the body of the first and only boy who broke my heart.

sprainedbrain Oh that‘s awesome! I kind want to read this now. 4y

I started listening to this straight after finishing my last #audiobook . Both are set in Ireland but it was a bit jarring to have the same narrator. They are very different books!

The other thing I found jarring was listening to sex scenes. I can read them no problem, no matter how explicit but listening to them is different. I wonder if that is just me though?

How long before I get distracted by the lure of the next book in a series.

Let's not get stuck on the fact that I have had it on my shelf for more than 10 years

#workinghard

BehindthePages Oh this is a good series! I read it way before the following series was written. Maybe a re read is in order so I can read Dark Studies. 5y
margreads @Letora I read the first two books more than 10 years ago. I just reread those and they were so good!! 5y
TheAromaofBooks The author also has several short stories available to read on her website that fit between the actual books - definitely worth checking out!! 5y
