High school teacher Emma Lovett is finally recovering from her first year of teaching when she discovers another dead body. As if that wasn’t bad enough, this time, someone has killed a student, Kisten Hollis. Emma and her best friend, Leslie, are desperate to solve this murder. But suspects abound. The perpetrator could be a teacher, an administrator, a member of Kisten’s zealous church community, or even another student. Emma must juggle her teaching responsibilities, her new romance with handsome Hunter Wells, and interest from a hunky second suitor, all while searching for evidence to bring a killer to justice before someone else dies.

This series is way up on the list of cozies for me. Leslie and Emma are back to their sleuthing ways to solve the murder of a student - and find out why the new teachers don‘t seem to like them.

I will never understand, however, why every cozy series has to have a love triangle. They just seem unnecessary to me.

veritysalter A cosy crime is always fun. 3y

Emma and Leslie are two great characters who complement each other quite well. They might not always agree on everything but what they do have is a great working partnership. They also manage to get themselves into some of the craziest situations. There is much humor to be had but the star of this book was the mystery element, there were many moving pieces and it was a fun read. Full review at www.thegenreminx.com #TheGenreMinxBookReviews
