This RF book is a fun and eventful book packed with lots of adventure! The theme of this book is about two squirrels, Cyril and Bruce, who go on a wild chase after the last pine cone to have food for the winter but ultimately realize they were being selfish. This book would be fun for S, and getting the students find important events with the arts!

Not particularly seasonal as it's set in Autumn but my daughter & I love this book! The rhyming story is funny, great to read out loud & has a important message about sharing, cooperation & friendship. But it is Jim Field's illustrations that set it apart. His talent is given a much larger canvas than the characters and sparse scenes in the Oi! series allow. The autumnal landscape on the first page is really evocative - great stuff!
