On New Year's Eve, Cal is chased down the street by a crazed man with a deadly warning: They killed your father. They'll kill you. You must survive the next 365 days! Now everyone's searching for Cal, the psycho kid who's meant to have attacked his uncle and put his sister in a coma. He's desperate to clear his name and protect his family, but he also has less than a year to solve an ancient family secret: the Ormond Singularity. And the closer he gets to the truth, the more dangerous his life becomes. He has 306 days. The threat is growing...

Here are my reading goals for March. They're a bit ambitious, but I did so well in February, I think I can do it. Do you see anything you liked?

Match 2019 reads. Checked a few more off the challenge lists. Faves were probably The Antiquities Hunter and Circle of Friends. Biggest disappointment was The Trial and Execution of the Traitor George Washington.

StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego Great reading! 📖💖 6y

#MarchWrapUp
I had a pretty good month of reading and enjoyed lots of cool books; knocked lots off my lists, challenges, and arc TBRs.
Also went to Emerald City Comic Con and took part in the @penguinrandomhouse Book Club where we discussed ‘Salvation Day.‘

I think I covered quite a range of books (but no non-fiction): sci-fi, fantasy, horror, humor, literary fiction, YA, middle-grade.
And squeezed in 2 signings. Good distraction from homelife.

StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego Great job! 📖💖 6y

March was a strange month. I read 10 books in the first 17 days but only 4 in the last 2 weeks, and one in the last week - mainly due to work commitments.

10 of those 14 books were on my planned list. At the end of March I was part way through 4 more. Will roll over all 8 not read into April.

Elizabeth2 I‘ve read a few of the No 1 Ladies Detective Agency books. They were really fun, interesting reads. I enjoyed the visit to a different culture. I haven‘t read one in years. 6y
Elizabeth2 And I‘m reading Light a Penny Candle right now! 😊 6y
StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego Excellent 📖💖 6y
Andrew65 @Elizabeth2 Maeve Binchy wrote such great books. The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency are great books and well worth getting back to. Finished them all until the next one is published in September. 6y

There are blessings in being a basketball ( and golf) “widow”. March is always a great month for getting a lot of great reading. I need to step up my ARC game big time in April. #march2019

#marchwrapup this time I wanted to show it differently and show a page of my #readingjournal. This month was really slow reading month for me.. a lot of personal things happening that prevented me from reading a lot but I‘m hoping next month it‘s better. I feel like I might be in a bit of a slump? 🤔😩

StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego Love the journal! 📖💖 6y

Here‘s my March book wrap up. I hit a big reading slump mid month where I was really only listening to audiobooks on my drives, so my print total is low, but my monthly “goal” is 17 books, and I got to 18. The first two books were definitely my favorites: Washington Black and Pachinko. I was disappointed by In Cold Blood and Hidden Figures.

StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego You did great!! 📖💖 6y

My provisional March list. Like most months I will read the majority off this list and some that aren‘t on the list or in my thinking yet. Already part way in three of these.

Suet624 That‘s a lot of reading! 6y
Andrew65 @Suet624 I always aim high, although don‘t always make it. 🤣 (edited) 6y

I have decided once and for all I can‘t commit to specific books during a month. So.....this is my March monthly goals. We are leaving tomorrow for a six day camping trip, so I have “hammock time”. I want to get some of the ARCs out of the way, as it‘s starting to feel like homework! 😱. Good luck to all of you who want to read more and read harder.

CarolynM I'm with you. I'm a total failure at challenges because ultimately I just want to read what I want to read. Enjoy your trip🙂 6y
