Some recent books I‘ve found at dollar tree. And even though I don‘t really journal much anymore I had to get that journal. Only now seeing Smoke In The Sun is a sequel. Oops. I‘m usually good at catching those and not getting them.

Pickpick

I chose pick because you can‘t read the first one without the second one. Like I mentioned before it felt rushed. Many of the stories got their stories in a bow and some left jagged. It‘s a quick read & I would recommend. As a stand alone so-so but as book 2, it gave some great moments. Felt rushed 3/5. This could Have been 3 book series with great villain moments and the redemption arc could have been stronger. #ya #poc #woc #wolf #friendorfoe

Almost done with the second book. I am glad I had a chance to read the second. The story is being thrown together at the end. I am feeling a little rushed in the second half of the book. There could have been a third book, I guess we are going to get a quick wrap up. The first one took its time, second one not so much. I am still engaged but I feel like we are trying to put the 3hr movie in a 1 Hour time slot

This is the second book in the Flame in the Mist duology and just as good as the first. This one adds even more court intrigue to an already volatile situation. There were a few surprises too, which I always love.

5/5 🌟
This book gived me anxiety. I was on the edge of my seat while reading this. I forgot how much I loved the first book and the sequel didn't disappoint. I love the cast of characters and in my opinion, they had develop and grow very well through the story.

I actually wish this duology was a trilogy. This book felt rushed and unfinished. Another book would have fleshed out the story and filled in some of the plot holes.
