Ummm. I thought there would be sex.

This was a quick-listen novella, that was cute enough, I guess, if you like those perfect-people-fall-for-other-perfect-people kinda romances. The narrators were good.

I guess I thought there would be sex, though.

This was my #BookSpin for July, and also my #Under150Pages book for #Booked2021, even without sex. At all. Like none.

When I started this short romance, I was expecting a snap shot romance with an epilogue at best or a rushed and shallow romance at worst. But, using an almost epistolary style, Lauren Blakely has managed to squeeze a fully rendered romance with characters I was invested in and a story full of dialogue that kept me entertained and engaged. And all in under 3 hours! I highly recommend this short sweet romance!

Super cute and feel-good chick-lit! It's short enough to entertain in one sitting, but still feels like a complete story and ends perfectly tied in a bow.
