Lying Next to Me | Gregg Olsen
Pickpick

Definitely a pick for me. Adam, his wife Sophie and daughter Aubrey are on vacation for the Memorial Day weekend. Sophie is suddenly abducted while Adam and Aubrey are out in a rowboat. The story is told by 4 perspectives. It was a quick read and easy to follow. While you start to figure out the ending early on, the details of the crime were the real twists to the story. Can't wait to read more by this author!

This was a truly engaging, twisty, and surprising mystery. I was able to predict the ending at about the half way point, but the journey to that ending was surprising. I loved that the story was told from the perspective of four different characters- a great way to move the plot forward that keeps you guessing! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻1/2 #AxeTheStacks

A story about selfish people and revenge.
Twists weren't very surprising - I figured out the killer the moment quite early in a story - it felt so obvious, there is some confusion with the flashbacks and back stories, but it was satisfying enough

Frank gets the award for the worst father-in-law EVER! He reminds me of the father-in-law, Jeff from Here To Stay by Mark Edwards, which is also really good.

Just finished reading this one.... I'm left all frustrated and angry. But the plot twist at the end really got me crying, I don't know if it's in pity or sadness. Overall, 4/5 and recommended to anyone who'd love mystery and thriller 👍 Gregg Olsen knows how to write it all

I'm going to start next months book club book now, before I cancel Kindle Unlimited. It comes in handy in situations like this, but I have far too many books (801) to justify paying the monthly subscription.

I've read one other book by this author and I loved it, but I'm going into this one blind. No idea even if it's fiction or non fiction. We shall see.

This book as some serious turns, still not convinced of the ending. Definitely a good read.

I love true crime and have been friends with and have followed Gregg for a long time. He wrote this as a fiction but my goodness does it have a feel for true crime. So freaking good!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️ It seems I‘m in the minority on this one. It was a little predictable to me and I was just ready for it to end. #mystery #audiobook
