pickSpent the first couple of weeks of the New Year binge reading these books by Elle Kennedy and I'm hooked. They were so much fun and I'm emotionally invested in these fictional characters' lives! 🤣🤣 Enlisting my book club girls to read them so I'm not alone!
Book 3! Can't wait to find out how this series wraps up!

Decided to postpone Behind Closed Doors because I'm still in romance mode. So I ran over to the library and got a huge stack to borrow, and bought American Dirt. Started this as soon as I got home.

My sister-in-law in Vermont just started a book club that I can participate in virtually and I'm so excited! This is the first book pick and I'm about 75 pages in and enjoying it thus far.

bailedI DNF this book. I usually don't do that, but this was just not pulling me in and I'm very bummed about it. I loved the queer representation as well as the inclusion of people with different disabilities, but it felt forced and inauthentic in this instance, and the story line itself wasn't great for me. I made it to almost two hundred pages, even with having figured out "who dunnit" very early on, so I feel like I gave it a chance.
I'm SO excited to start this series! It's probably the most highly recommended series I've seen online so far. I am so thankful for my library, the Thomasville Public Library, for working hard to get this book into my hands!
