I didn't like the nickname and her always putting others first while neglecting herself.. She let everyone walk all over her - it was too much... This girl was taken advantage of again and again...
But the book grew on me eventually and was an OK rom-com.

I missed a satisfying conclusion: the beginning of the book revealed the answer, but I had hoped the ending would hold more. Sadly, it did not. And the writing style makes it hard getting into to the book, as a love story it failed with deepness and engagement. But still - a good book!

I wanted to love it. It's a book about the bond between mother and child. It's also a book about the destructive power of secrets, misunderstandings, and miscommunication.

It's a little slow, still quite intriguing, but not very involving.

This mystery- thriller-suspense story keeps you hooked. Some aspects of the story take a while to unfold and behavior of some of the characters is confusing, but you keep reading and guessing. This is a story where nothing is as it appears, there are secrets, lies, issues of trust and multiple twists.

The lead character is wholly unlikable and the story is way too far fetched and truly bizarre. It's like the author tried to fit too many things into a small space. I don't like stories about sociopaths...

Sad story of three generations of women.
A story of unconventional mother-daughter relationship.
A book about a gloomy survival in the redoubtable Soviet era.
The style didn't appeal to me...
There were not mentioned names of the main characters - interesting choice

Wool Omnibus I liked so much more. It feels like with this book there supposed to be something more, it feels unfinished, no conclusion.
Good dystopian nightmare idea, but I didn't like the style.
Nice element - the way the story was told through the viewpoints of the various members of one family.

I feel like I'm reading these books out of obligation now than anything else :) I would say books in these series are going downhill... Every following book is weeker and weeker. Characters were either over dramatic and lame or dithering. The were a lot of episodes where motivation made no sense.

Insightful, wise and delightful book. Story within the story. A story about family and its complexities. Plenty of emotional moments.
Elsa is the greatest - she is unique and different, smart and brattish.

Interesting way to begin books with a character who dies. Then throughout the entire book, you're trying to find out who will die at the end and who killed them and why.

Truly, futuristic Gossip Girl - rich kids soapy drama. The pace of the book was rather slow.

Basically, this book is exactly what it says it is. Lies, drama, parties - a true mix of GG and LPL :)

One of those petty dramas where privileged rich kids sleeps with everyone and everyone betrays everyone, do lots of drugs and you are not required to think too hard.

But I was interested to read to the end - to find out who falls from the tower

But there also was hope, love and an undeniable sense of mystery and intrigue.

The story moved slowly, was mostly unbelievable, but unconventional characters, creativity and whimsical writing makes this book enchanting and engaging :)

This book was not bad. But it was very (too much) unrealistic [teenagers must handle the warfare and save the day] and too long [it just felt like it was dragging on and on as if it would never end]. There were illogical things, lame phrases, poor metaphors...

Although it features a typical, post-apocalyptic dystopia, although it isn't completely original, is a bit predictable and pretty slow, but it is an entertaining read. It has great development of important ecological themes

A satisfying, very well-written historical romantic melodrama. Although the secret is not one that is difficult to figure out, a treasure hunt to uncover the secret is well-thought out and makes for a far more interesting read. I'd say, a little too pretty, but I still liked it.
