This book includes some heavier topics. Not a fluffy, lighthearted rom-com, but well-written

Enjoyable book despite the obvious sadness of the story. The plot was a bit predictable, but the details about the life in London during the Blitz were interesting.

It's adorable and geeky romance.
Just, feels like Ali Hazelwood is writing about the same quirky, weird, smart, petite female main character and grumpy, broody, and tall, big male main character in all of her books... 😸

The characters were flat and the story - slow and boring. I just didn‘t connect with the characters. Overall - meh. Although, the authors notes were moving.

Not the usual Lisa Jewell book. The heroines were unlikable, the story seemed too far fetched, very slow unraveling of the mystery.
Overall, this was an ok read, but nothing special.

Insta-love and chemistry felt very forced, dynamics between the leads was schematic, the writing of this book was clunky and awkward.
The story was not compelling enough.

Once again - Lucy Foley wrote a hugely enjoyable chilling atmospheric crime mystery. Entertaining and riveting Agatha Christie-esque whodunit story. I enjoyed this author's characters development and writing style.

I was disappointed... I couldn't wait for the book to end - it's not a good sign :)
Liv's relationship with her dad is devastating - she had so many questions and wasn't asking them, all their miscommunication... And her father - a grown-up with no sense of responsibility...

An original story and once started reading it is so curious to figuring out how this story would progress. It seems to be a predictable romance, but there is a twist that changes perspective on everything that had happened earlier in the book.
This book is a sweet and sad story about three women finding themselves.

A western adventure in Indiana Jones sort of situation isn't my cup of tea, but the book was enjoyable, pretty fun.
In my personal opinion it wasn't a bad book, but it wasn't Christina Lauren's best book - the romance felt flat, so many unnecessary things added...

CaramelLunacy I enjoyed it (I love an Indiana Jones style treasure hunt), but I did find myself wanting more witty banter in the romance 4mo
