To me this book felt over the top with sweetness, went into overkill with the morality lessons... I feel like I should have liked this more...
Very repetitive, very similar to previous installments, but still touching, sad, compassionate and bitter sweet.
A crime solving mother-daughter-granddaughter trio was well done. It was a decent mystery too, but characters felt like caricatures. And I kept waiting for the story to get engaging and then it finished :)
There is much to learn in this book and it is heartbreaking to read. I found this to be a unique story, very inspiring. This book is beautifully written and well researched, creative, and tells an important piece of my history.

There was a slight feeling like reading 4 very similar books, but still it was a nice wrap-up of the series.
Amazing family drama! I wasn't fond of the ending - too much doubt left - but there is no doubt that Sally Hepworth is a fantastic storyteller.
Emotional, touching, sad and bittersweet, also funny and twisty. This series keeps getting BETTER and BETTER!
The story felt slow, pointless, and meandering with Tarantino style massacre and open ending...
There is a lot of action, but not much suspense. There isn‘t much substance... It wasn't a bad story, just not a “wow“ :)

Such a pity this small town romance in the middle of nowhere is so far from the goodness of “Spanish Deception“...
There were a few occasional laughs and smiles but the rest was kind of boring. The storyline and the development of the relationship even difficulties they endured wasn't even convincing.
It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either :)
Such an amazing story - “all the feels“ book. Completely captivating and heartwarming. Brilliant author‘s note!
Lovely, entertaining romance duology: it‘s sweet, heartwarming, cute, fluffy and fun 😊

The story line was uninspired and predictable, dialogues were cheesy and non-original, characters - annoying. Steamy, saucy, but cringy and foolish. However, I liked the sister relationship between Piper and Hannah 🙂
Thursday Murder Club books are getting better and better :)
Quirky, funny, delightful and witty. The writing is great, the characters are interesting and the story is full of feel-good vibes :)
I really enjoy this series and can't wait for the next installment “The Last Devil to Die“
Romantic suspense story - steamy and funny. Not believable, but entertaining :)
Fast-paced and quite compelling plot about a sociopath girl 🙄
Intrigue, mind games and unexpected twists - truly compelling as well as satisfying story. I really enjoyed this book! 👍

Perfect installment to amazing series with characters you missed :)
Great job on your books McManus!
Delightful, funny and entertaining. A heartwarming & feel-good read. I really enjoyed this story.
It was an OK book, but characters were bland and storytelling wasn't great.
Very sad and sappy, but hopeful and really beautifully executed paranormal love story.
I wasn't convinced with how quickly enemies phase ended and turned into love, but overall it was still alluring reading. An entertaining and enjoyable read.

Although I do agree with comments that the word 'big' in relation to Jack was mentioned too often 😆, this romance story is still entertaining, witty, charming and fun!
Very sad, disturbing and twisty, but unfortunately - forgettable.
Unrealistic, over-dramatic, even ridiculous sometimes, but it is a fitting ending to the series - splendid closure to the story. I'd say - the best book of the series 😊
4.5🌟
Really funny, truly enjoyable, cheesy, but touching - good escapism 😄
Idea, intentions and premise were very good - this book definitely speaks to an important and timely issue for women - I simply did not love how it was executed here...

Complex characters, emotional and hopeful story + beautiful writing. Not a comedy.
A rather simple story, but it is atmospheric and captive. The writing was nice and the concept was cool.
So entertaining, so fun! Likable characters and delightful story 😊I thought this was even better than the first book in the series!
Self-discovery and self-acceptance story on a whimsical small-town island - somewhat delightful book 😊
P.S.: weird title (not accurate) 😒
Interesting book with a story within a story. It is a layered, suspenseful and very enjoyable 🙂
This entire book could've been 10 pages if they just COMMUNICATED and treated her depression...😕
I'm thinking that Colleen Hoover isn't my author 😔

Overall, it was an OK book. I was curious to see what decision Emma would make. Interesting premise but execution not impressive...
Kind of sad rom-com... Not bad, it had some good moments. But it was rushed and unrealistic.
I prefer Lynn Painter's YA books so much more!
This book is pretty mediocre and cringy, but there were cute moments here and there 😊
Crazy and creepy. Insanely ridiculous and improbable. Implausible and kind of revolting. (Like how did she fake the brain scans?..)
